About Aimee
Aimee E. Smith (she/her) is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Queensland researching ethical visualization in humanitarian nonprofits. Aimee’s research interests predominantly revolve around the intersection of ethical practice and nonprofit fundraising. Her current projects seek to examine and describe the efficacy and ethics of nonprofit interventions and pose useful solutions to practitioners. While Aimee primarily researches nonprofit ethics and fundraising interventions, her research interests extend to all prosocial behaviors, such as health-related behaviors and consumer wellbeing. Aimee is methodologically agnostic and often motivated by creatively leveraging different research methods and working in diverse teams to answer important research questions. She is trained in a range of methodologies but has an expertise in experimental and survey design and meta-analysis.
