Sarah Rank

Sarah is an experienced International Development practitioner, with a focus on gender, child protection and education within Africa. For the past 10 years she has worked within the private philanthropic sector and it is this experience that she is applying to her research on giving through philanthropy foundations and the nonprofit sector. Sarah is keen to contribute to learning that derives from research that is contextually rooted in those with lived experience; contributing to driving forward practical solutions that will foster a system of charitable giving that is both just and sustainable. Through her PhD she is being supervised by Associate Professor Cassandra Chapman and Professor Cameron Parsell.
